Purple and Orange Coat Dress: Standing

I made this coat/dress out of stretch fabric in 2 shades of purple and one light shade of orange (the photo makes it look more peachy pink for some reason).
As you can see from the picture, the skirt is basically a full circle skirt.

Each piece was hand cut and painstakingly re-assembled in what I calculated to be about 6-and-a-half hours. Thankfully, the material cost was low.
The front of the coat has ten plastic buttons that are just so doll-like. The inspiration? Making a "dolly" coat/dress to match my friend's LARP character, "Adipose" for a Dress-As-Someone-Else's-LARP-Character Party. I gave her the dress when she left the party, so now its hers. :-P
