Doublet Bodice

In the early Autumn months of 2012, I threw together a bodice/doublet with detachable sleeves. It is made from a heavy brocade and silk (the checkered fabric). I believe there is also a heavy cloth liner in there as well. It is difficult to make out in the pictures, but it laces up along the sides.

This would make for a TERRIBLE fencing doublet. It is not roomy enough and the side grommets with the lacing would be illegal catches/vulnerable points. But that was the original intent when I made it. Alas, it is now yet another thing to LARP in.
